KKR vs CSK Match Summary: If there is a formula to win every game CSK has surely decoded it as calling them invincible wouldn’t be wrong. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first. Everything clicked for CSK except Chris Lynn out of the box innings, he was unstoppable and played a majestic knock of 82 of just 52 balls including 7 fours and 6 sixes.

The batting spearheads like Sunil Narine, Nitish Rana, Robin Uthappa, and Skipper Dinesh Karthik fell cheaply without ticking much on the scorecard. The CSK bowlers, especially Imran Tahir was on the rampage after taking 4/27 runs in his quota overs. In the end, Kolkata Knight Riders were restricted to 161/8 in 20 overs.

CSK too didn’t had the greatest of starts as they lost the opener Shane Watson cheaply at 8, but since then it was a smooth riding as both Faf Du Plessis and Suresh Raina kept scoring at a brisk pace without taking much risk. Du Plessis lost his wicket at 28, but Suresh Raine remained not out till the end despite wicket keeping falling on the other hand.

In the end, everything was left to the reliable pair of Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina. Both Jadeja and Raina remained not out till the end and won the match for CSK at 162/5 in 19.4 overs.

Imran Tahir was declared the man of the match for his all-round performance in the match.
